What is Anti-aging?
Anti-aging is the term given to the process of delaying, slowing and possibly reversing the aging process in the body. This process, also called "biologic aging," is the result of accumulating damaging and unnecessary damage to our bodies, and is the reason why some people think that aging is a punishment from God.
This type of aging occurs in the body at all ages, and the most common result is skin and hair loss. Anti-aging products can help to slow or even reverse this process.
Anti-aging has many applications, and can be applied to any aging process, including those caused by physical inactivity, disease, or smoking. Most commonly, anti-aging products are used to help prevent the formation of white and red spots. These spots are caused by the buildup of collagen (a type of protein), which is created when proteins build up and break down. In healthy skin, collagen builds up to form thick and firm skin that lasts longer than it does on the skin of a person with wrinkles. Most anti-aging products, such as creams and lotions, are designed to treat wrinkles. Anti-aging products, however, are not designed to keep wrinkles from appearing. Aging is caused by changes in our natural production of collagen and other proteins in our skin.
