I am a doctor who treats women who are experiencing sexual frustration or dysfunction. I believe it is important that people who suffer sexual dysfunction have options, even if their options are limited. I don't believe sex should be a punishment, a source of shame, or a source of pleasure for men who don't understand the complexities of women. I am a mother who has struggled with sex for several years and I also believe in the power of the clitoris and its role in sexual pleasure for women. I am also a researcher in psychology and sexuality who has studied women, their brains and sexuality for many years. I am not interested in helping people find sex toys that will make them feel better or that will satisfy their lust, my focus is in helping women become and remain healthy sex-capable people. I am not trying to "fix" them or "cure" them. I am an independent therapist who uses the sexual health information I obtain from sex research and clinical experience to help clients to develop healthy sex lives. I believe that sex can be fun and that all people should enjoy it. I also have a very active sexual health blog with articles on the latest research in sex therapy and sex-related medical issues.
